Relocation

1 piece

Relocating into the Triangle means making decisions about towns you have not lived in, usually on a compressed timeline and often from several states away. These pieces are written for that situation. They cover how Cary, Morrisville, Apex and Raleigh actually differ from one another once you are past the rankings, how people reach Research Triangle Park from each of them and what the alternatives are when I-40 is not working, what school assignment does and does not guarantee, and which parts of the process reward being on the ground versus which can be handled remotely. The aim is orientation rather than persuasion — enough of the real texture to narrow the search before a trip, not a list of reasons to move. The practical sequence is set out in relocating to the Triangle.
